FAQ
IB Diploma tuition: FAQs
Is the IB harder than A-Levels?
It is broader, not necessarily harder. IB students take six subjects plus the Core, while A-Level students usually take three subjects in more depth. UK universities accept both; check each course's IB points and HL subject requirements.
What IB score do top UK universities ask for?
Offers vary by course. Highly competitive courses commonly ask for around 38–42 points, with specific HL scores (for example 7 in HL Maths for Maths degrees). Always check the university's current published requirements.
Can you help with the Extended Essay and IA?
Yes. We guide students on choosing a research question, structuring the work and understanding the assessment criteria. IB rules on academic integrity require the work to be the student's own, and we follow them strictly.
Are lessons online or in person?
Both. We teach in person in London and online for students anywhere in the UK. Online lessons use a shared digital whiteboard, so working is visible step by step, and every session can be recorded for revision.
Do you offer one-to-one tuition or small groups?
Both. One-to-one tuition is fully tailored to the student. Small groups are capped at six students so that every student still gets individual feedback.
How do we get started?
Book a free consultation. We discuss the student's school, exam board, current grades and target, then recommend a plan. Most students begin with a diagnostic assessment so that lessons focus on real gaps rather than topics they already know.
