How we teach

Diagnose first

Every student starts with a diagnostic assessment, so lessons focus on the specific gaps that are costing marks.

We teach to your exam board's specification and use its own past papers, mark schemes and examiner reports.

Exam technique

Timed practice, mark-scheme wording and error logs turn understanding into marks under exam conditions.

FAQ

GCSE & IGCSE tuition: FAQs

What is the difference between GCSE and IGCSE?

IGCSEs are international versions offered by Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel. Many UK independent and international schools use them. The content is similar to GCSEs, and both are widely accepted for sixth-form and university entry.

What GCSE grades do I need for A-Level?

Most sixth forms ask for at least a 6 in a subject to study it at A-Level, and often a 7 or higher for Maths, Further Maths and the Sciences. Selective sixth forms may ask for more. Check your sixth form's policy.

When should GCSE tuition start?

Starting in Year 10 gives time to build foundations without pressure. Year 11 tuition usually focuses on gaps and exam technique. We also run intensive sessions before mocks and the summer exams.

Are lessons online or in person?

Both. We teach in person in London and online for students anywhere in the UK. Online lessons use a shared digital whiteboard, so working is visible step by step, and every session can be recorded for revision.

Do you offer one-to-one tuition or small groups?

Both. One-to-one tuition is fully tailored to the student. Small groups are capped at six students so that every student still gets individual feedback.

How do we get started?

Book a free consultation. We discuss the student's school, exam board, current grades and target, then recommend a plan. Most students begin with a diagnostic assessment so that lessons focus on real gaps rather than topics they already know.
