Bright Sprouts Academy teaches Cambridge International AS & A Levels and Pearson Edexcel International Advanced Levels (IAL) in London and online, in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, English and Computer Science. International A-Levels are graded A* to E and are accepted by UK universities in the same way as UK A-Levels. The Cambridge Pre-U has been withdrawn (the final exams were in 2023), and former Pre-U schools now mostly offer A-Levels or the IB.

International A-Levels & Pre-U tuition: FAQs
Are International A-Levels accepted by UK universities?
Yes. Cambridge International A Levels and Pearson Edexcel IALs are accepted by UK universities, including Oxford, Cambridge and Imperial, in the same way as UK A-Levels.
What replaced the Cambridge Pre-U?
Cambridge withdrew the Pre-U and the last exams were sat in 2023. Most schools that offered it moved to A-Levels (sometimes Cambridge International A Levels) or the IB Diploma.
What is the advantage of the Edexcel IAL modular structure?
Students can sit units across several exam series and resit individual units, which spreads out the workload. We help plan which units to sit and when.
Are lessons online or in person?
Both. We teach in person in London and online for students anywhere in the UK. Online lessons use a shared digital whiteboard, so working is visible step by step, and every session can be recorded for revision.
Do you offer one-to-one tuition or small groups?
Both. One-to-one tuition is fully tailored to the student. Small groups are capped at six students so that every student still gets individual feedback.
